RTE's "This Week" radio programme at lunchtime on Sunday will be carrying an interview with Dermot Mannion.
(Let's also hope RTE start to bring some perspective to their coverage of this story. It's got hours of coverage all week, most of it giving the Shannon lobby an easy run and, with little else in terms of serious news, spokesmen have been allowed to go on at length with what are often dubious arguments in favour of the Government intervening, recalling the Dail etc. As so often with aviation stories in the Irish media, there has been a marked absence of informed comment or analysis that might subject some of the claims (e.g. about the likelihood of other carriers stepping in to replace EI) to greater scrutiny.)
