Guessing by the name you're part of FPL...let's just hope that the lack of ATCOs isn't reflecting badly on ATC side of things as it's just as frustrating, if not moreso for us than the customers. Never very nice hearing snide comments on the r/t when announcing a 30 minute closure (never FPL or FRA who make those comments, but "professional" airline pilots
).
Hopefully it will get better in the next 12 months, with one more coming upto validation on radar to give another "full" controller, two more tower only controllers to step into the radar training slot in turn, and rumours of a potential tower only arrival in the future.
I'd love to have a positive outlook but it does get difficult at times.
