Wasn't the reason Eastern pulled off the LCY-NCL route was the doubling of landing fees at LCY, to try and encourage larger aircraft at LCY?
Couple of other bits of information, Thomson have added 2 more weekly flights to Reus and Mahon for Summer 2008, and there is a Cruise charter to Barbados in December 2008.
