Well that's what the Aviance station manager at MME told me.
I'm sure however that we'll almost certainly get an immediate replacement for bmi into London, obviously though it won't be into LHR, especially since this will break the agreement bmi has with MME that says only they can fly jet equipment to/from London on scheduled flights.
Who the replacement will be is open to speculation but it will probably be into LGW, although this situation kinda fits Eastern's business model - snapping up business routes the second a carrier drops one.
