Power by the hour -- any good?
I would like to solicit some customers' opinions on power-by-the-hour contracts. If you have a helicopter, an engine or even a fleet of helicopters on PBH-type maintenance arrangements I'd be interested to learn whether you think they are good value for money.
Do they help ensure that your aircraft are available when you need them?
Do they make business planning easier?
Whose are best?
Have you looked at any recently and either signed on the dotted line or decided they are not for you?
Any insights on all or any of these questions would be gratefully received.
