It does seem that Ryanair are a little too big for their own boots.Michael 'o' Leary said not so long ago that there will be 3 super flag carriers, and a low operator,Ryanair! With the possibility of one other, maybe say easyjet.Well he must know everything about the flying game then, what about:British European,Go,BMI,Eastern,Scotairways,Manx, and all the other idependants, not everyone wants to fly out of regional airports.People want to fly from Edinburgh to London city,or can the Ryanair smoke generators get into City! You pay for what you get with FR,a seat on a real piece of aviation history, the Boeing 737/200 smoke generator.I am not anti FR,but the reason they use small airports is that their A/C would keep setting off the noise detectors and hence large fines!Ryanair, get on with "your" business and stop worrying what the Irish/UK market is going to do,and do'nt expect to be givem preferential treatment, your 737s weigh similar to the Aer Lingus 737s yet you pay different landing fees!! God bless "Shamrock".
