The taxation of pensions, I believe, is not as straight forward as was first mentioned. Yes it will be taxed however, I understand that if e.g. you've paid 22% at source in the UK and you're paying Income Tax at 40% in Oz, you only then pay the difference i.e. 18% to the Ozzie taxman. Not another 40%. This is called the double taxation rule.
As for FEs jobs. P3 Orions in Adelaide is the only RAAF one recruiting to my knowledge.
