- I cannot agree with you there, based on personal experience. I have operated many times in many types from the 'wrong' seat with my 'wrong' hands on various controls and the ONLY difficulties I have had have been with complex tasks such as formation/air-to-air refulleing and operating the 21 function weapons control in the Lightning. Never have I had a throttle handling problem. I am firmly convinced, like NOD and others, that this is an AB 'human factors' issue.
