.....which had me scuttling to the dog-eared photo-albums. Sure enough I found a photograph I took at Biggin in '63 or '64, I suspect, of Aircoupe G-ARXR in a colour scheme almost identical to the photograph in MReyn24050's post. I flew in most if not all of Sorry and Bent's Aircoupes, courtesy of my great uncle Gordon Carey who was flying instructor with the club at that time.
