Personally, I think the BFS base will be small. Most of the BFS-LHR flying can be done by ORK/SNN/DUB crews, as we all do London overnights anyway. Any Transatlantic will most likely originate in SNN, so will be crewed from SNN. The likes of BRU, CDG or AMS could also be flown by DUB/ORK crews, but will most likely be crewed by a small base in BFS. When DM announced they would launch a new European base, he said he would use the base to take advantage of local wage rates. BFS wage rates arent going to be that much lower than DUB/ORK etc, so I'd say the BFS will be followed by another base in Eastern Europe. I think theres also potential in BHX, so hopefully BHX follows!
