I totally agree with you
Right now I am about to give up a GREAT travel-benefits package with American Airlines: unlimited Premium Cabin (First and Business) travel for employee, parents, immediate family -one registered companion-, 12 additional travel buddies -on the entire AA network-, ZED tickets and ID90/75 with most major carriers worldwide. These sort of packages are standard for U.S. based carriers. Yet, the only people who actually enjoy my travel benefits are my parents and my little sister. So I am very pleased with EK`s offer, can hardly wait to start.
I reckon Emirates offers a decent package, pretty good for industry standards.
