The empire strikes back !

The avionics company Bendix/King was displaced from the position it held for so long at the very top of the GA avionics market by Garmin with a product that offerd a lot of showroom performance and filled the market for the replacement of those old KX170/175 nav/com's to a tee.

Well it would seem that the sleeping giant has awoken and is about to put it's self back at the very top of GA avionics market.

If you are looking for a new avionic fit then check out the KNS770 GPS/NAV/COM and the KFD840 PFD on the Bendix/King website, I am told that the prices are well below that of the rest of the market.

I have yet to check the ability of these units to interconnect with other products as this requires a look at the instalation manuals but if past reputation is anything to go by these units will offer "real world" performance even when conected to other manufacturers equipment.
