'tis indeed. Gotta say though, from the way that some of the pilots from a new kid on the local block carry on, I'm not surprised they are having trouble finding the right feedstock for their cockpits.

There are some really terrific kids around but geez it's hard work sorting em out from the chaff. Maybe I'm getting old and crusty but they all seem to have the right technical quals, but too many seem to have missed out on the really important bits, the rest. I guess it is really me.
The thought just occurred to me, why dont they forget about the 457 visa, which is a bit on the nose right now and hire the Silver Bodgie to go bring em in as brickies and carpenters, he was, if I recall, a dab hand at it not so long ago.
