instrument rating
hi everbody,
i am trying to decide on what type of instrument rating i should do.
1. 35hour single engine ir and then 15 hour twin engine ir
or
2. 35 hour in a sim and then 15 hours in a twin
the hours in the sim would help because if i find something difficult to understand, it can be stopped and everything can be explained in detail which wouldnt happen in an aircraft. also less delays with weather.
however i find the sim not very realistic especially for take off and landing.
the hours are only logged as sim whereas in the aircraft they could be logged as actual ifr time .
i would like to hear your comments ,good or bad, let them roll.
