Re DEP 757/767

At the moment there are enough internal transfers to the 767/757 fleet to not require DEP entrants. There are the occasional training course drop outs and very few DEP slots have been made available at short notice over the past training year.

Be aware though that as the 'Junior Boy' on a now senior fleet you will be Blindlined for the foreseeable future, if not to the end of the fleet.

747 FO transfers are down at the moment so if thats your bag there is the 'slim' possibility of a fleet move within your type freeze over the next few years. 777 has shot to sky high seniority with the fleet expansion and the fact that it is taking over some of the more lucrative 747 routes and therefore has an expanding route structure.

Airbus into LGW is going to be interesting with LHR crews operating in LGW to cover the crew conversions from 737 to Airbus, hence the big recruiting drive.

Future is looking intersting with working practices being discussed now, T5 and a possible LH/SH fleet expansion and single class trans atlantic flights.

Have fun
