Not sure if the same goes for Brisbane re rating times but Melbourne folk can expect:
2 week TAAATS HMI short course (after college)
4 - 6 weeks sim on appropriate sector airspace
2 - 3 months training for first rating
These figures are probably not optimistic and all being well could be shortened (OTJI training at least). Some Groups train on a couple of sectors as initial rating (ie high and low level sector) but this varies.
