You see, I wish to book a flight from Ireland to Valencia for during the Christmas holidays. My only option at the moment is Dublin - Valencia. However if a Valencia base announcement is imminent, then possibly they'll introduce Shannon (or ideally Cork but I'm not holding my breath). ...?
