- The loan of Tair Airways was rejected/disapproved by Global Finance. Mr Ramirez, in his infinite wisdom, submitted a letter of loan application (to Global Finance) to CAB as part of "proof of financial capacity." This was used as one of the documents submitted to CAB as part of their application for temporary operating permit. Problem: this loan application was not approved & was subsequently disapproved by Global Finance. Question: Why on earth will you submit a document which puports to be a proof of financial capacity when infact it wasn't approved yet?
Question: Where will they get the money right now?
- The owner (same owner of Warner Barnes Travel Agency & a recruitment agency) is facing a lawsuit from the Japanese investors apparently for malversation (among others). The subpoena was given this week already. The money involved millions of USD that Tair needs to give back. This is disturbing since the owner has other legal obligations to deal with.
Rumour has it that the 2nd batch of their new management recruits are leaving soon. After all, how can a company work when there are obvious financial uncertainties? Infact, a well placed pilot with Tair is now seeking his luck with another start-up airlines. Talk about loyalty. It all boils down to money.
As for the pilots & cabin crew, goodluck! Dont count your blessings until the eggs are hatched.
