Exclamation Avro Vulcan XL319 Sunderland UK

Vulcan XL319 is looking very sad now but things have really hit rock bottem at the museum recently due to low attendance and poor condition of the vulcan etc BUT now is the time for them to dig in and turn things around which is what the core members are trying to do this year. If anyone can help the vulcan at Sunderland with either funding or hands on help they would love to hear from you! I would very much like to help her but living overseas puts an end to such ideas.
The message below is from John Applegarth who is looking afer her now.
Vulcan B2 XL319 at the North East Aircraft Museum will NOT be reduced to spares as long as I continue to breathe. We are implementing a plan to restore her to her former glory. Please visit the Flypast forum, and read the 'North East Aircraft Museum' thread in the Historic section. She has donated some parts to 558, and is structurally sound, dispite looking terrible. Perhaps before further comment can be made, you should approach the owners to see what they think! She has sat outside for 23 years, uncared for, but now at last she WILL be saved.
