At last some good news, a new route that is actually that and not trying to poach passengers off some other route. Have you heard anything on what the frequency will be?
I don't know do SkyEurope still market Bratislava as Bratislava/Vienna since they opened the Vienna base. However I think there is still a frequent bus service between Bratislava airport and Vienna. I'd say the route would do better with Cork based passengers if it were marketed as Vienna. It should do well anyway with immigrant traffic. Hopefully Ryanair won't suddenly decide to launch a Shannon-Bratislava service. Has anyone else noticed that Shannon-Madrid seems to have been axed from the end of October. Such a coincidence that it was launched shortly after Cork-Madrid and then dropped as soon as the Cork route was axed! I suppose its purpose was achieved.
