Leaving aside the guvnors pathetic ranting.....theres a hot rumour going around BZZ that the MOD have approached BAe about how much longer the VC10 could be extended to...PLUS a considered bid for 7 more L1011s!!! Apparently the PPI is not working out as well as expected, and 50 million to refurbish the 10s and upgrade the L1011s is cheaper than 2 billion to give to Rod or Airbus. (Scottish F/Es need not apply.....)
