Well, Power Ranger - shows how much you know about these aircraft. They are -100 models, which are medium range variants - fine for the NE US and Canada, but you need a tech stop to go to Florida or the West Coast.

The aircraft I've been after in that context are actually -250s and -500s.

We did look at the aircraft earlier this year and in fact I went out to AUH to establish what would be required to put them back in the air.

After having been ripped off big time for the parking fees at Gamco, JMC as part of their cost-cutting exercise rightly decided to get rid of them at any price. Their agent put them out to tender and we put a bid in. We had seven figures US worth of committed financing lined up to cover maintenance and other costs.

As for Mr B - those in the know will be aware of his activities at Gamco with the then MD. I shall simply say that it appears that it was not a coincidence that the aircraft were parked there to be shortly joined therefter by himself.
