Oh well here we go again...
1. What are sponsorship requirments ?
- do you have required passport?
- are your grades acceptable
- are you in the right age category?
- are you a nutter ? this changes things
- are you physically fit
If you meet all the requirments and you are on your way. search the net and aviation publications for sponsorship schemes. Applie by all means. Should you not be succesfull first time, donīt give up, just keep pushing the envelope.
If you are unable to get a sponsorship try to figure out the following:
1. Where do you want to work
- this affects the decicion on where to
train and what licence to obtain.
2. Choose a school, complete you training, build hours and keep sending CVīs. Look for companies that you could get in realistically. Donīt think you should apply for a B744 Capt position with 1000 hours.
3. Keep a goal. That is where you want to be and who do you want to fly for. Work towards that goal. Might take you a while but dont give up.
I never did, I think it is finally working out for me.
