There are quite a few SO's that commute on the A330.
It really depends on how many are recruited behind you. It would be difficult if you were in the bottom half dozen (ie last 2 or so courses recruited). This is due to the Standbys that you'll cop.
Expect it to cost anywhere from $2000 to $8000 in after tax dollars (depends on your seniority as to what trips you can get - hence lower commute costs)
It will be difficult (but not impossible) to commute for the first 12-18 months, for the following reasons:
Low pay (at 18months there is a reasonable pay rise)
Low seniority = no pick of trips, possibly not much flying because you're not a pattern line holder, and you'll also score more of those standbys.
Staff travel not available immediately
