As a student on the Gold Coast I was at a school mainly owned by ex-military guys. The exception was the son of an estate agent whose father had bought into the company.
He had the bright idea of the instructors having to wear flying suits, he even bought one and hung it on the back of his office door. The CFI's response was "I spent over 20 years wearing those bloody things and you'll never get me into one again", the others just ignored the idea.
