Rishworth Aviation / KAL contract confusion
I was just chatting with Rishworth aviation about the KAL contract and the requirements for type rating for captain positions on their widebody fleet of 777/747's.
I have received conflicting information which they haven't cleared up for me yet.
I was hoping maybe some of you here can help me understand this.....
They are saying KAL now does NOT require a type rating for captain positions into the 777/747 fleet. OK.... so I thought I'd apply for it, but only to find out that they apparently want captain experience in a widebody (airline).
Huh??? How can one be a captain of a widebody WITHOUT a type rating???
Anyone clear this up for me?
