Mav 22,

Your thread along with the others regarding Comed have been 'demoted' here to Aircrew Notices. They were allowed to fester for far too long over on Rumours and News.

I use the word fester very carefully because the original outrage of students and private owners has been overwhelmed by the smoke, mirrors and mindgames of various businessmen involved.

We are happy to give voice to those damaged and disadvantaged by the collapse of the company as long as they obey the rules of this site. You will note that no thread has been deleted and the only editing that has occured is for legal reasons and has my name appended to the posts involved.

However, a cabal of those with business interests at the airport have insinuated themselves into the threads and we view all their missives with an extremely jaundiced eye. They pursue their respective agendas on our site and we reserve the right to do whatever we wish with their cynical, self-serving politicking.

You are entirely missing the point of the moderators Mav22. They are not around to promote discussions regarding the finer points of airline liveries. They have three fundamental tasks and I suggest you dwell on each and every one of them.

Firstly their primary job is to keep Danny and myself out of court.

Secondly they work to keep keep the signal to noise ratio at a decent level for each forum's readers. They move posts, mainly, to a more suitable place - this forms the majority of the workload and is supplemented by moving dubious ones to the admin forum for us to reveiw.

Finally, they remove names from posts along with phone numbers, third party contact addresses and any content that might be potentially considered insulting, defamatory or just blatant advertising.

That is their job, it is what they do. If you are uncomfortable with any of the above I suggest you go elsewhere. In the meantime the threads remain open here, not on an international forum for aviation professionals. Those threads will remain open for as long as we see any value from them for students and private owners.

Our site, our decision, our responsibility.

Regards from the Towers
