I have had dealings with Helicentre Liverpool over the past 7 years, with the past owner and the current and in all honesty, I haven't a bad word to say about them.
Personally, I think that doing your training in a nice busy airport in class D airspace will stand you in good stead (that's my opinion, others may say different :o).
Give them a call, pop in for a coffee and let them give you the grand tour.
