In addition to the fact that you no longer have the required equipment to make the approach
legally, it is good to realise that going around is the
SAFE option. It surely makes more sense to me to throw away the approach, see what has happened and make an educated descision then to just continue and see what happens..
You didn't get hired to risk it, you got hired not to risk it.
