Without a chalet invitation, I didn't find anywhere decent from which to watch the flying. Wasn't there once a 'public lawn' with a view of the runway? I ended up by the rope on the main taxiway, where the crowds had to be parted whenever there was a movement into or out of the static park. One poor chap was knocked down by one of the toy trains.
