Any Concorde aircrew out there?

It's developed into a discussion as to the likely effect of taking off overweight (and with an aft c of g), and the likely survivability of forced landings, etc., but there's an inevitable tendency for those with axes to grind (the French and the Francophobes, perhaps including myself) to get a little entrenched.
Though I started the thread, I had no idea how fascinating it would become.
There is no such thing as too much information or expert comment.
Anyone with the required privileges to re-post this request in the BA section?
