The 26K/month at CX is the 50% for the RFZ. Eg 26K(HKd)/month is correct for the first 24months of employment with the worlds most admired airline
(Cathay). After 24months its 100% RFZ eg 52K/months.
Just to clarify. And I agree if you want something decent for more than a single bloke - the 26K/month is not enough for a westener in the nice areas of HK.
