Gees man last time someone asked that it turned into a who's job is better slagging match between guys trying to justify their life.
They are very different countries and the living conditions as such are too different to compare. Go for which suites you best.
They both have management that will continue to bleed you dry and fly you til you die. It is now part of the job where ever you go. However you can work to age 65 with EK if you have to. Not sure if the compulsory retirement age still applies at Cathay.
Money would be the next big one to consider, and even that is not simple to compare. If the US$ keeps going backwards then perhaps a salary that is not pegged to the US$ is the way to go. Do your own maths because you will have to live with your choice and it's easier to put up with a bad choice if there is no one else to blame.
