I think that I am right in saying that PSP matting had to be laid aside the runway in order that the TriStar could do a 180` at the runways end. This is I believe the reason that the VC10 maintained the route after the RAF got their second hand, never raced or rallied TriStars.
A favourite topic was always the 'names' applied to the airlines of the day. I would be thrown out of big brother for repeating some, but the airlines themselves were:
