I also should be getting a Mk.3A Helmet. Anyone tell me much about that?

. Before you ask Gloves go on your hands (green ,white and black) , boots on your feet.
The flying coverall covers your body apart from the feet, hands and head, hence the need for boots, gloves and a helmet. You put it on by unzipping the zip on the front and stepping into it putting your arms into the arm things up near the collar.
