I have to agree with the point about pragmatisim ...
After all, which is the less green of the two options ....
A second runway allowing for free, speedy and efficient flow of aircraft in and out of the airport
or
No second runway with aircraft queued up at the 28/10 holding points and still more flying circuits around the TULSO/NASRI/ROKNA and god knows what other holding points around the city and bay all buring fuel going nowhere just waiting for a runway slot.
At the end of the day, Aviation is a form of mass public transport, and aren't the greens all for speedy, efficient, public transport free from congestion?
