While the thread is drifting...
Was it my imagination or last night did I see a QF 737 with a flashing (or occulting or isophase or dimming - didn't have time to pay THAT much attention) logo light? Seems like a very strange thing to happen.
It was on bout 4 mile final to RWY 23 AD. Maybe just a long day....
