Trader Jon's Reopens!

Pensacola - A historic bar filled with naval aviation memories and
memorabilia will reopen today on the birthday of its longtime proprietor,
Martin "Trader Jon" Weissman, who died in February at 84. Weissman
suffered a stroke in 1997 and was unable to return to work at Trader
Jon's, which closed the following year. His family recently sold it to a Navy
pilot, Lt. Matt Heckemeyer, and his wife, Kerry, for $465,000. They have
since spent about $150,000 to fix a leaky roof and make other repairs.
The Heckemeyers said they were unaware that Weissman's birthday was
Sept. 1, 1915, when they scheduled the reopening
