. I remember when I went for that ADFA scholarship thingy waaaay back in year 11 and being told that I was underweight and needed to gain a few kilos. I certainly took that advice to heart.

I don't think that spec aircrew is necessarily the answer to this problem. Sure, for the 3 to 4 guys who get it it's great, but for everyone else that's 3-4 flying slots that they
won't be getting for 5 to 10 years.
