I've been in there and got "handled" by a lady in a fluorescent tabard for the best part of £100 (usually I don't have to pay for ladies to handle me
). In fact both times I have landed at Newquay (once helicopter, once fixed wing) have been weather diversions, the landing charge was waived on both occasions but I had a very expensive 25m van ride to the terminal as the handling was still charged.
I was thinking more along the lines of a free landing site within walking distance and spending the money on food.
