I had the same problem with a girlfriend back in the sixties. The other chap wanted to marry her. We couldn't agree on a price so we decided to hazard for her. I suggested gin rummy he said he preferred canasta. She said that Russian roulette was more appropriate and went to bed with the adj.. I think he married her.
