First freefall jump was from the tailgate of a C130 at 16k over Denmark. ( A lot more fun than the static line night equipment jumps I had done up until then :-).
Subsequently got a Cat10 civilian qualification at Perris California and have also jumped at Ampuriabrava in Spain.
In the process of ordering a couple of rigs from Headcorn to get us all back in date.
When 15 of us went to Perris we also visited the simulator in Las Vegas which was brilliant and helped those that were learning to fly straight down the tube to fine tune their technique in one day.
Given the weather in the UK we could really do with a simulator here but the nearest one I have found is in Lille and they are always fully booked.
I am planning on visiting Ampuriabrava in a Cessna 210 February to check the viability of flying over at the weekends.
