Between the late 70's and late 80's, the NSW Public Education System stopped kids from having to learn "spelling words" at home, ceased teaching English Grammar, syntax, semantics, language constructs, etc. Generally speaking, this is why a whole generation now in their 30's and 40's, having come through the public education system have trouble spelling or writing English properly. See how he spells "forum" as "fourm" and also "Agusta" as "Augusta". Classic examples of the NSW system trying to nurture creativity first, at the expense of spelling. Just my observation from hiring people from that generation in NSW. Thank goodness things have gone back to how they were before this botched experiment.
