I had informed them of my high myopia (but now corrected to 6/6 with a pair of intra-ocular lens) and then the final interview ended rather abruptly.
Looks like the high myopia and end of interview have something to do with each other.

I'm now doing my CPL/ATPL in Kelantan (a DCA recognised school), do you think I still stand a chance of being a cadet with SIA after graduation?
Whatever the chances are, what does it cost you to apply again? Just some time and incidental expenses, correct? The worst they can say is no. Suppose they say yes, then you have to be prepared to commit another 2 years or so doing the whole course all over again at Seletar or wherever it may be. So, one step at a time. Finish your course, and finish well.
