Just in regards to your query re: how much cash you can make while working for EK...it really does depend on the amount of flying hours you do, weather you have a huge phone bill for the month, weather you have purchased anything from the staff shop etc...however with saying that I have never got under $5000Dirhams (currency here in the UAE) and that is worked out on the absolute minimum flying hours of about 20-30 hours, this is more then adequate to live on and this is not including your layover allowances you receive only word of advice depending on where you are from, dont convert that amount back to your own local currency because from where I am from it amounts to nothing can be a little depressing, but as I said its more then enough to live on here in Dubai
