Thank you Roland Pulfrew for highlighting the way to object to this unconscionable destruction of an essential service. During my time with both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force, health care was something we did not have to worry about. We knew that we, as well as our families, would get the very highest levels of medical treatment, always.
I urge everybody who is eligible to support this petition. The shoddy way our wounded servicemen are being treated in NHS hospitals - even being hounded in their recovery wards by political opportunists - is a national disgrace. Surely this is one area where the Service Chiefs should go in to bat for their troops without worrying about the umpire?
