If you've got enough time and transportation, get down to Niagara on the lake and check out the jet boat ride!!!!
Not the cheapest thrill, but certainly worth it, and at least the water will be a 'little' warmer then!!!
Also the town of Niagara on the lake is 'quaint' unlike Niagara itself!!
