Inadvertent Lightning Flight
My dim recollection that it was at Wroughton (then an MU?), the officer concerned was the SENGO doing ground runs and the aircraft jumped the chocks and got airborne. Ejection seat either not fitted (wooden crew room chair instead) or was not armed and there was no canopy. It must have happened because most of us have heard the tale.
