135Kts remindes me of the old story at Lyneham, where a fast taxi & engine run to locate a problem turned into inadvertant flight, and I dont think the guy was a pilot either - could be wrong there.

At what point speed-wise do they 'want' to come up?

Fantastic plane though. One with the burners on almost caused my wife to give birth at a families day at an airfeild just off the A1 back in june '86. We were just walking across the pan, and it emerged from behind the hangar with the 'whack' only delivered by an aircraft moving pretty fast. It had both tubes lit and then went for the sky. My Wifes stomach was gyrating in sympathy! I think she wanted to pop out for a look!- but she held off for 2 more days - Thankfully - wouldnt have wanted the show ruined...
