I quote the CAAs Fixed Wing SRG List B for May.. Re MOR Jetstream Executive, G CCPW.... " No 2 engine performed eratically on descent and aircraft unable to maintain directional control or height, Nr2 engine shut down and MAYDAY declared ECL actioned."
Thus the MAYDAY comment was from the CAA (occ Num 200702674) so I assume was accurate. Any further detail on the hydraulics failure you refer to would be useful. Thankyou
